Suggest Treatment For Sludge In Kidney

I have been diagnosed with some sludge in my left kidney. Because the wait to see a urologist at the local hospital can be up to 6 mnths I want to ask what I can do myself (apart from drinking lots of water) to flush this sludge out - perhaps before I see a professional. Thank you P

hi
thanks for posting in HCM
I have understood your concern

1.if the sludge is causing obstruction to urine flow and leading to increased size of the kidney I.e.hydroureteronephrosis, you need to undergo ureteroscopy and Double J stenting. this stenting ll drain the sludge material .
2.during ureteroscopy possible amount of sludge can be removed
3. you need to drink lot of water
4.needs evaluation for sludge formation like serum uricacid levels, serum calcium, urine routine .

after 3 months stent should be removed.

hope this helps you
any further questions please let me know
thanks
