Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I would say that you developed Suntan, as a result of being under the strong sun, on a beach.

It would have been better if you would have used a sunscreen while on the beach.

Even now, I would suggest you to use a broad spectrum sunscreen, that which offers both UV B as well as UV A protection, throughout the day, on the exposed parts. A sunscreen with minimum SPF 30 is considered to be good.

A skin lightening cream containing kojic acid 2% can be used once or twice daily, to get rid of the tan.

regards
