Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was diagnosed with sinus tachycardia almost 2 months ago and put on 100 mg of tenormin daily. Overall it has controlled my heart rate but it still spikes around 120 at several times throughout the day and when I start to excercise shoots to 170 so I stop in fear of it soaring too high. Should I see a cardiologist?
Good day and thank you for posting this question. Yes, kindly see a Cardiologist. He is in the best position to recommend the investigation and drugs to use. I hope it helps. Thank you.
