Suggest Treatment For Sinus Infection And Sore Throat
I ve been sick for 9 days on antibiotics. Instead of getting better I m feeling worse, Dr, said I had a sinus infection, symptoms sore throat runny nose. Now my throat is more sore again and I have a headache with stiff sore neck. Not feeling well at all.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sinus infection and sore throat which is because of viral infection/ upper respiratory infection. It might be due to poor and compromised immunity of body. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles three times daily. You should take hot milk boiled with half a teaspoon of turmeric. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist once and get it examined. Doctor may order blood tests , viral culture test or CT scan of sinuses . Drink lukewarm water on daily basis. Taking decongestant nasal spray can also be relieving. If you feel pain and discomfort in body or throat taking painkillers like Ibuprofen Or Paracetamol can be relieving. Taking steam will be very helpful. Doctor may prescribe antiviral or anti bacterial depending upon the diagnosis .
