Suggest Treatment For Sinus Drainage And Chest Congestion
I have sinus drainage and it s caused total laryngitis. I have no fever & don t have a cold. No headache of congestion in my head; just drainage & mild congestion in my chest. Don t really feel bad, just the laryngitis and drainage. What medication will help

Hi Dear ,
As per query you have sinus drainage and chest congestion along with laryngitis . Well sometimes post nasal drip occur when infection like sinusitis left untreated . Infection through post nasal drip spread down the respiratory track and can cause laryngitis and chest congestion . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist ithout any delay to prevent further complication like lung infection. Doctor may order CT scan ,chest x-ray , allergy test and blood test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics at leaste for 10 days ( amoxicillin or penicillin ) , decongestant and expectorant . For now take steam twice a day to relieve congestion , apply hot compresses on chest and do drink glass of warm water with one spoon of honey in it .
