Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath

my friend has wheezing shortness of breath, a sharp pain in his chest, and a high HR as well as RR. He is running a slight fever. He has taken 4 puffs of albuterol without any relief. When he stand up he gets tunnel vision and gets really dizzy. He coughed up sputum earlier today while vomiting and it had a bright pink tinge to it. (he had nothing pink to eat.) While he is sitting if he opens his eye he has a red floater in his vision. what can we do

I can understand your concern.
Possibility of acute bronchitis is more likely in your friend 's case.
Viral infection is the likely cause for acute bronchitis.
So better to take him him to pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
PFT will not only diagnose bronchitis but it will also tell you about severity of the disease and treatment is based on severity only.
He will need inhaled bronchodilators (formoterol or salmeterol) and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) (budesonide or fluticasone).
Don't worry, he will be alright with all these.
