Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain And Pulled Muscles In Chest

My right side of my chest suddenly began to hurt this evening. It feels almost like I ve pulled a muscle, but the sharp pains seem to be random and not when I make certain movements. The pain also seems to slowly be making it s way to the center of the chest. Is this common for pulled muscles in the chest?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your problem and situation.
I don't think your chest pain is due to muscle pull.
Because muscular pain aggravates in certain position and movements. And it is also confined to the area of muscle , not moving to the center as in your case.
So better to rule out cardiac and pulmonary causes first.
So get done ECG to rule out cardiac cause.
Get done chest x ray to rule out pulmonary cause.
If both are normal than this can be due to muscle pull. But better to rule out other causes first.
