Suggest Treatment For Sharp Headache And Optic Neuritis

My husband is having bad headache for almost a week now. So bad he is taking Tramadol as usual paracetamol can not relieve the pain. His CT scan had normal results. He suspects it s because of the pinhole glasses he wore a week before thus he consulted an ophthalmologist. The ophthal suspects swelling of optic nerve in initial check and he underwent several tests which results are yet to be seen 2 days from now. Today, he experiences sharp headache when he makes sudden movement or jolts. Are we on the right track as to our actions? Thank you

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, most of the headache does not have any specific reasons and this could be due to functional in origin and most of the time it is due to migraine only and it is better to treat this in that manner only hope this information helps.
