Suggest Treatment For Severe Toe Pain

Thanks I woke up last night with an extreme pain in my left big toe which come on suddenly and then goes away as fast as it comes. There is no swelling or redness to my toe and it feels completely normal most of the time-the pain seems centred in the core of my toe Last year I put a garden fork through the toe to the inside left of the bone and had stiches so wondered if there was a late infection or a nerve damage thing going on here.??

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you are having nonspecific pain in your big toe. It is unlikely to be due to infection or infection you are thinking about, however it may be acute attack of gout which subsided subsequently. Analgesic can be used for pain relief. You can get your uric acid level keeping in mind of gout attack. You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. You can also write to me directly on below link:
