Suggest Treatment For Severe Testicular Infection

Hello, I m 52 years old. I have what appears to be a testicular infection. I have slight swelling and gravity is not my friend. This happened once before about 10 years ago and was treated with antibiotics. Is there anything I can do to ease to the pain?

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Noted the history related to your testicular infection- in a person of 52 years of age.
There is slight swelling and gravity pull is causing you a problem.
There is past history of similar findings 10 years ago when it was treated with antibiotics.
You want to ease the pain.
Painkillers would help you with the pain but not with the disease that has caused the symptoms.
You need the following:
Opinion of an Urologist for clinical evaluation, examination and prescription.
Ultrasonography of the abdomen and scrotum with color doppler mode.
Tests of urine and blood.
Appropriate treatment with antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines.
Scrotal support.
If there is a surgical cause, get operated.
