Suggest Treatment For Severe Sore Throat, Nausea And Dizziness
Hi, I recently had a sore throat with a white thick coating and sore white patches in my throat. My mouth was very dry and I could bearly swallow. It lasted for three weeks. Now, the white patches have disappeared, my mouth is still very dry and I m having an enormous amount of gas, heavy burping, upset stomach, nausea and dizziness. I don t know if everything is connected, I just feel terrible ! I am on a lot of medications and I have rheumatoid arthritis and that seems to also be flaring.

Understanding your concern.As you mention in your query that you have severe sore throat, nausea and dizziness . As you are experiencing dizziness along with sore throat you should consult doctor .Because sore throat has certain complications and infection can spread to ears . Your doctor can prescribe you antibiotics if you have sore throat due to bacterial infection , antiemetic drug ,warm saline gargles and decongestants . Do not bend forward ,avoid cold beverages , apply dry warm compresses to external ear and keep your ear dry , cover it while bathing. Doctor may also prescribe supplement like ginkgo biloba and also examine ears with otoscope for infection or accumulation of ear wax. Drink warm water with half spoon of honey in it daily as it is a natural antibiotic .
