Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain Under The Breast

Wow, this is nice, I hope this is a reputable site. I just had a hida scan done of my gallbladder. The results showed that the gallbladder was not functioning like it should. When I went to my gp to over over the results she said, it probably has to do with my weight, I am about 30-40 lbs. Meanwhile I have intense pain under my right breast and I need to find a really great doctor here on the central coast and not sure what doctor takes care of this problem. I am in Nipomo, ca, San Luis Obisbo county.

Thanks for your query.
The pain beneath the breast shows involvement of the liver or biliary tract-with gall bladder. If the pain increases on inspiration-taking breathe it could be a gallstone. In most of the cases it is physiological. The hormonal changes in the body will change the metabolism of the food we take. Any indigestion or vomiting will cause a muscle catch. An ultrasonogram will rule out the gallstone cause. If the pain is intolerable paracetamol can be used.
