Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Neck

Ongoing pain along spine in my neck. If I push on the area, a shock runs down my left side. Left shoulder experiences a burning sensation from time to time. Left arm is weak. Lower back is in constant pain all across the lower back and if I manipulate that area my right thigh gets extremely cold.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your symptoms indicate towards a problem in cervical spine, most probably it could be cervical spondylosis, but this has to be confirmed using x-ray investigation. For temporary pain relief kindly take Paracetamol. You need to consult an orthopedician and also undergo physiotherapy to attain relief. You will be fine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Suhas Chauhan
