Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Neck And Spine
Been having neck and spine issues. The pain keeps getting worse. It starts from the top bone to the neck it s like coming out of place. I can t stand touching it. the pain goes down to my spine to the tailbone. It s like a burning pain. My back, face, arms and legs go numb. What is the cause? Would I need surgery?
Hello, I have gone through your query and understand your concerns.
Based upon your history first thing I can tell you is you need MRI whole spine to know the exact cause. Usually if there is disc prolapse you will have such type of pain and numbness. Regarding your question about surgery we need to know what is the exact cause and how severe it is. If you were my patient I will keep you on tablet.gabapentine for pain relief till I see the MRI report. Hope this answers your query.
Regards, Dr.Alekhya.
