I am 53 female 65 kilos height 162 cm and I have been having severe groin pain for over 2 months of and on. My last period was 6 months ago and just this morning I am having my 2nd period for the year. I have heard from comments that groin pain is common in peremenopausal women....does getting a period allow the pain in the groin area to go?? Lower back pain too. and fuzzy head and clumsiness. Thankyou

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain in the groin can be due to a muscular cause or a spine related cause like disc prolapse. Local trauma also needs to be ruled out after an examination.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
