Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Hip

one year ago I had back surgery. Ii have been told I need another one up higher.I caught a 2nd opinion and that dr told me my hip also needed replacement. I cannot stand straight and also walking is very painful but when I move my leg while sitting or laying down it does not hurt in my hip at all. I believe that all my paid is from my back since it seems to be nerve pain. what do you think?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think that your back and hip both are cause of pain. When hip is not in good condition than whole weight get shifted to spine and causes back pain. If you want second opinion than you can share your x ray report with me. This will help me in understanding your current condition of the hip joint.
I would also suggest you to avoid sitting at floor or cross leg sitting as it will increase pain.
I ope these steps will help you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks
