Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain And Spasms In The Back

I have had severe pain and spasms in my right back going on 4 weeks now. My doctor prescribed Vicodin for the pain which helps but when I stop the medication the pain comes back. He also gave me two B-12 shots in the muscle without taking a blood test or urine test. I ve gone to massage and now acupuncture to relieve the pain. I am on no medication right now just heating pad and the pain is still there. I now have lost control of bowel movement. My throat is now sore, having some hot flashes. The nurse at my doctors office gave me a sheet to call some orthopedic doctors if I did not feel better. I will call on Monday.
