Suggest Treatment For Severe Migraines

I have been experiencing migraine for a few yrs off and on. Over the last two yrs occurrences have increased, began having auras, last Sunday had 2 auras in one day. Recently very sleepy all the time, sometimes blurry vision, minor memory impairment (I make lists a lot to remind me to do things especially at work). Sometimes have trouble finding right words or speak incorrectly but not slurred. Frequent nausea w HA. Occasional vomiting. HA more often in am. On nadalol BID, chlordiazepoxide/amitriptyline at HS. Prn imitrex tabs and IM c rare relief. Have not had MRI in 10 yrs. Frustrated! Does this warrant another MRI? Could it be s/s of something else?

you do have a typical migrane symptoms
a MRI even though may not have any findings would help in elimination other sinister causes of headaches
you can try using sumatriptan 50 mg to abort the headaches and the medication can be repeated after 6 hr if needed
have you tried using propranalol 20 mg daily to prevent the headaches or flunarazine 10 mg daily to prevent please share
migrane is a unhappy headache to have please also try and identify if you have any triggers if so try and avoid them
I find this answer helpful
