How long will the abdominal pain last before the symptoms typically worsen to the point of danger? Can it be the same for a long time and then worsen really quickly? I have been hurting since early this morning, more or less where it says the appendix is, or the main usually settles. It started more in the middle of my stomach,actually maybe two inches below my bra line, and has moved down between my navel and right hip for the last few hours. I was nauseous this morning, but then felt better, so I ate Mexican food at lunch. After eating, however, it worsened. I laid down for an hour and it got some better. The main symptom is the pain. It s continually hurting at a 4 out of 10 when I sit and worsens when I walk, p to about a 7 out of 10. I live an hour drive from quality health care. I m a 49 year old, 5 5 135 lb., female in good health.
