Suggest Treatment For Severe Leg Pain

I have a very painful right leg from my buttock to my foot - the side mostly. Also for about 12 hours, I had urgent need to urinate, having to pee a little about 6 or 7 times. This is new for me. This has lessened the past 2 days. I ve seen a neurologist and had an E MG - waiting for results. Taking Aleve for pain, not always effective.

Hello,

Thank you for the query and welcome to Healthcaremagic!

In order to help you i will need some more information about you like how is the pain sharp like a pull coming from lower back to back of leg or is it a dull pain? did you have any accident or any back injury in recent? and past history of similar episode? Is there any burning sensation while peeing? any loss of control during urine or stool passage?Do you have any other medical condition in past?

From how you have described in the question it seems to be a nerve compression pain. Your urinary complaint can be related to this if it is loss of control of urine.
I will suggest get your self examined by local neurologist , get MRI spine done to rule out nerve compression.
But this can be confirmed only by getting the answer of above questions i have inquired, you can follows back with me.
Takecare!
