Suggest Treatment For Severe Knee Pain

Hi, I am 44 years old and healthy woman. My hieight is 5.5 ft and weight 73 kgs. Mother of a 10 years old . I have developed knee pain since last 10 days only in climbing stairs. Doc has checked this and advised exercise only. I do not not have any allergies and do not take any types of medicines/ vitamins/ calciums etc. Should I support the exercises with some calcium. PS: there is no paid when I walk or sit down etc..

Calcium supplements wouldn't help here but ibuprofen would.

That said, I would get an MRI of your knee to check to see if you have a torn meniscal cartilage in the knee.
