Suggest Treatment For Severe Jaw Pain

Good morning. I have had jaw pain primarily on the right side, but now on the left as well. My glands are tender to touch. I have ruled out any teeth issues. I have not been Dx with fibromyalgia, but have all symptoms. The tender glands have me concerned tho. This has been going on for several months on and off. They are really not swollen just very sensitive. Can this be assoc with fibromyalgia?
Thank You,
Nancy

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Jaw pain or jaw tenderness can be common symptoms seen with Fibromyalgia and you should consult a Physician and get yourself evaluated..
You can first consult an Oral Physician and get checked for any dental issues and if nothing ruled out you can check for Fibromyalgia..
If there are dental issues then it can be treated for relieving pain..
In case if it is due to fibromyalgia then it can be treated with pain relievers, anti depressants, moist heat application and stress reduction..

So you should get investigated for an appropriate management..
For now you can start taking painkillers so that you can relieve pain till the time you consult a doctor..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
