Suggest Treatment For Severe Itching In The Groin Area

I am 70 years old and have what appears to be common jock itch that has progressed to cover a large area of the groin. I m starting to read about causes, and conclude that I might try an antifungal over the counter medication. What is the best product for that?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi dear,
i understood you problem,
jocks itch is caused by fungal infection.
usuall i prescribe this to my patient,
it gives wonderfull response no doubt.
so follow this
1)tab itriconazole 200mg BD FOR 15 DAYS
2)OINTMENT AMOROLFINE APPLY TRICE A DAY
3)TREAT YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS WITH SAME IS ANY ONE HAS JOCKS ITCH
TREATING YOU ALONE IS USELESS
4)MAKE CLOTHES WARM BEFORE WEARING
5)MAKE AREA DRY BY APPLYING POWDER
6) FOR FURTHER PREVENTION USE KETOCONAZOLE SOAP SINCE HIGH CHANCE OF RECURRENCE.
