Suggest Treatment For Severe Headaches

I have been getting a headache every day, usually mid day. On the right side of my head above the eyebrows.\When I take a nonaspirin tablet it usually goes away within the hour. It is a dull pain. This has happened for the past 2 weeks but I get it every day. I have not had any head or other injury.

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
The treatment of headache may depend on the type of headache. It could be :
-Primary headache like migraine, tension-type headache..
-Secondary headache caused by an identifiable health problem like High BP, malaria, systemic infections...
Since there are no associated symptoms, i will suggest you manage it as a primary headache. You may try the following:
*Rest well
*Take a paracetamol-codeine combination like klipal during acute attacks.
*You may add a steroid like prednisolone for 5 days if pain intense. It is not good to take steroid for long to prevent side effects
If symptoms persist, you see the Doctor for examination and investigations. You will then need tests like typhoid test, malaria test, full blood count, ESR ,BP control and others depending on the diagnostic orientation of the Doctor and if need be, a brain scan.
Hope this will help
Best regards
