Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache
Hello Doc, my girlfriend is suffering from a head ache ,she has high and low fever , she feels hot and cold , she went to see the local doctor they said she has infection in her tonsil. she has been in very bad shape , she cant sleep , she can t eat properly because she has some wound inside her throat , she is in pain , couple of days ago she had terrible pain below her kidneys, she is taking anti botics from yesterday but is not helping much, wht can be done at this time ? i would highly appreciate your suggestion

As you mentioned that there is severe pain in the throat with fever with chills , headache .
She is also taking antibiotics for pain near kidney ( according to you ).
When such patient visit I at once introduce intravenous infusion of Ringer lactate with tobramycin injection 80 mg twice in day for 2-3 days till patient recovers . As she is also having infection in the throat so gargles with local antiseptic solution will also provide relief.
If patient don't respond within 2-3 days then get in consultation from an E N T expert.
Cold water sponging on forehead will not only provide relief in headache but also in fever.

Since she started already on Antibiotics she has to finish the whole course of the antibiotics which might take a couple of days to work, its important to stay hydrated during this. For the pain control she can take paracetamol 500 mg *2 pills 2 times per day every, but do not take more than that. And an anti histamine will help relief the congestion symptoms and help her to sleep.
