Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache

Hi Doctor, My name is Selvi and I observe fasting every month. Each time I fast, I suffer from severe headache resulting in consuming painkillers such as vasograine and caffox . It has been ten years since I have been observing but as the age decline the pain is intolerable. I got no choice , is there anything you could advise how can I get rid of the pain

Hello,

Are you able to hydrate during your fast? It is possible that dehydration is what is causing your headaches. If not, can you increase your fluid intake before and after the fast? Also, try to reduce the amount of sweating and exertion that goes on during your fast.

Take care.
