Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache And Continuous Cold
My 15 year old daughter suffering from severe headache and now she has to write her 10th exam in march. she is suffering from severe cold last week and commpleted one course of antibiaatics. still she is having cold and sevear heaache. and now today we done x-ray and according to report . hypertrophied right interior turbinate. Frontal and maxillary sinuses appear clear. no significant deviation of nasal septum. I am worried about her she is frequently geting col. please sujjest what we need for this problem.

I have gone through your query regarding severe headache and cold to your daughter. As you said that she is having cold for quite long and X-Ray paranasal sinuses revailes hypertrophied inf turbinates and all other like sinuses are normal and nasal septum is also not deviated.
Your clinical story indicates that your daughter is probably had rhinitis with turbinate hypertrophy. Rhinitis may be bacterial or viral.
You should consult your doctor for turbinate reduction probably by coblation and medical treatmen lateron.
Till you are waiting for specialist you may give following to your daughter-
1- Tab paracetamol
2- Anti histaminic.
3- Steam inhalation.
4- Xylometazoline nasal drop.
