Suggest Treatment For Severe Hair Loss

Hi, hi i am 22 and suffering from hair loss for past 1-2 years. And when i use any shampoo or oil , my hairs are likely to be fallen down. The rate of falling hair is 20-30 per day when i use shampoo . but i donot use shampoo , the rate of falling of hair is 2-3 per day. So what should i do to prevent hair loss. When my hairs are long they fall down at a rapid speed. I have got bald spot over my head .Please suggest some treatment to be applied over my head to prevent hair loss and also some multivitamin tablets.some one also suggested me to apply onion over the head for the regrowth of hair. I have found some of the hairs are growing back . should i continue to use it?

Hi,
Thanks for writing to HCM.
I understand your concern of hair loss after going through your description.
It could be due to 2 reasons:
1. Hormonal changes taking place in your body.
2. Parasitic infection of your scalp.
You can try the following means by which it would reduce your hair fall and help to re-grow your hair.
Use Ketoconazole shampoo every alternate day for 3 weeks. Also use Selenium based shampoo twice a week.
That should help you to be better of the problem you are facing with.
