Suggest Treatment For Severe Fungal Infection On The Toenail
Hi doc! I have had a fungal infection in my toenail for few years . I would like to take the lamasil in tablet but I m planning to get pregnant at anytime now. My question is, can I take the pills and if I get pregnant stop right away ? How long that stays in your system after you stop taking the medicine? What is the risk for the baby ? Am I safe or not safe ?

lamasil contains terbinafine it shoes no effect on fetus during pregnancy
but it passes onto breastfeed so if your infection is severe u can use it but prefer terbinafin topical cream/spray
