Suggest Treatment For Severe Flank Pain

I m having severe pain on my right side about where my liver is. I used to b a heavy drinker and have stopped since I started having severe pain in that area is it possible to experience pain in liver? Also I had read that signs of patchy dry skin could also be a symptom of liver disease and I just found some between my breasts. I have had blood tests which indicate high levels of enzymes but nothing else.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

Here as alcohol drinking history present your complaint points towards gastritis with liver affection also

Your work up done in following ways...
-USG
-SGPT, SGOT in serum
-PT etc

If fatty liver or mild hepatitis present than you might prescribed udiliv tablet 300 mg daily

Liver enzymes value more than two time is significant, so let me know your reports first

For gastritis simple omeprazole 20 mg capsule daily for two week will be enough...

Avoid excess fatty meals and excess spicy foods

Avoid smoking

Fruit juice more

Use sunflower oil for cooking

Refined sugar and rice kept limited

Consult physician for examination and accordingly work up
