Hello,

Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.

Ideal heart rate for a heart patient is 50-60 per minute your pulse rate is very low i would advise you not to take metoprolol for now and immediately report to your doctor as there can be heart block or any other problem because of which you are having a low pulse rate most probably this is because of metoprolol you are taking.

I hope this answered your question, If you have more queries I am happy to answer you.
Regards.

Dr.Muhammad Ahmad
