Suggest Treatment For Severe Ear Pain In A Child

My son is 12, he was in a chair and another kid knocked the chair back causing my son to hit the back of his head on the tile floor, this was 2 days ago, he wasn t home when this happen. My son said someone gave him ice and he called to come home right away. he had a lump but no wound. he took aleve. He has been swimming a lot. He has been complaining about ear pain, no fever. after 2 days of complaining of ear pain he went to urgent care where they looked at him and seen nothing in his ears, no redness. Should I be worried about the fall he had?
