Suggest Treatment For Severe Back Pain And Colitis

My friend has severe back pain, mainly upper and mid region of back along with chest. He is also vomiting everything he eats since yesterday. He gets fever intermittently. He was diagnosed with colitis earlier, but it is under control now. One doc said acidity caused it and prescribed meds accordingly. Now, another doc is suggesting x-ray to see food pipe issue. Any idea on what this could be?

I really appreciate your concern, the given symptoms could be due to hyperacidity only, and it can be well managed with Tab Omeprazole 40mg with Domperidone 20 mg once in day, hope this information helps.
