Suggest Treatment For Severe Anemia And Headache

my doctor said my anemia was really low and that was the cause of my head aches and dizziness i am on a "treatment" taking two iron pills a day about how long of me taking the pills until my head aches to go away or should i get recommend to see a neurologist?

Hello,
You mentioned that you are anemic, but you have not mentioned your Hb level or your gender or age.
Normal values of Hb is different for men and women.
For men it is 13 to 17 gm/dl and for women it is 12 to 15 gm/dl (age > 18 years).
If you have mentioned your age, Hb level and gender, it will be very helpful to solve your query.
But usually iron tablets are taken for a month after getting normal Hb value to replenish iron store in the body.
Your symptoms may be due to anemia and if it still persists after your Hb value comes normal then you should think of any other condition.
