Suggest Treatment For Severe Acne Problem

Hi, I m 30 year old. It s been approx 8 years I m suffering from acne problem. I have taken sotret 10 MG twice in last four years for 3 months. I have got three sessions of peeling done 2 years back. I have showed to many doctors and they all prescribe the same medicine. I have used brevoxyl facewash, but it did not suit me, I had allergy on the jaw line, though it helped on cheeks. I still have acne problem. I also travel a lot and have to apply make up also as I am a cabin crew. I am very confused. Please help Thanks Sonal

Hello respected,

I can understand your concern,
i think you should go for salysilic acid peeling, have at least 5 to 6 sittings,
topical tretinoin 0.025% cream once at night, benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel in morning , both for half hour than wash off,
oral antibiotics like azithromycin or clarithomycin ,

And a good quality moisturizer (cetaphil cream)bed time and after bath.

Once your face is clear you can continue Tretinoin cream for maintaining the result.

I would have prefer isotretinoin( in high dose 40mg than taper the dose and for at least 4 to 6 months to get best result) but as you have taken twice in last few years,I would suggest you to go for peel

do get prescribed the medicines by a dermatologist,

pimples also gets aggravated by stress, hot and humid environment, too much junk foods, excessive use of cosmetics. So keep in mind those things

thank you
