Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Pain And Flatulence

Hi I am a friend of a man who has g6pd deficiency. Now my friend was hospitalized because of the burst fracture of L4. and at this time, he can t eat and drink because he felt that there are lot of gas on his stomach. The doctors already given him pantoprazole and esomeprazole but it s not working for him. he still has stomach pain and lot of gas. Is it save for him to take eucarbon? how about antibiotic name ceftriaxone? Thank you for your answer

Hello,

There are many reasons for the same in indoor patient with fracture L4. I personally do not recommend carbon due to its possible side effects of constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, allergy, etc. Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic, what about the current antibiotic which he must be on for fracture recovery. His case needs thorough clinical examination, finding out the exact cause of the pain and then deciding the management part, he cannot be managed through internet.
