Suggest Treatment For Seizures At Night After A Head Injury
Hamare 19 yrs child ko 6 yrs pehle head me chot lag gai thi uske some times night me feat comes out but diagnostic report i.e. MRI, EEG, CT Scan is nill. and Doctor give "WALPROL CR 250 MG" and after that he cure. Now this month same problem persist in Night. Please tell & Guide me about same ASAP.
Hello. I have been through your question and understand your concern.
Late seizures are known to be a common feature after head trauma. Basically you need to continue the treatment with antiepileptic drugs (Walprol) regularly for at least 2 years after the last seizure. Only then you can talk to your GP in order to gradually withdraw from the treatment.
