Hi,
I understand your concern.
Secondary sterility can arise due to
Male health issues- diabetes, mumps, tuberculosis, severe weakness.. mostly leading to abnormal sperm counts,
Female health issues - Problem in ovulation / irregular periods, thyroid problems, ovarian problems, diabetes.
- Problems in felae genital tract- uterus/fallopian tubes.
- some diseases like tuberculosis, genital herpes.. which can lead to sterility.
Management - It consists of -
- Investigations of both male & female partners,& treatment as per cause.
- You have menstrual blood PCR test +ve. It indicates some genital infection which may cause the sterility.
You need to consult a sterility specialist, show him your results & seek specific treatment of the infection detected by PCR. followed by routine health check up & investigations to look for problem caused by the disease.. Get treatment for it side by side.
* This is aimed at getting rid of the basic cause & removing organic defects ( if any ) created.. to facilitate conception.
thanks.
