I do not suffer with acne, but I do get 2 or 3 in a month during my cycle. These acne leaves pretty bad brown mark on the face. I have been using Retin A .5% for a yr now, well I do see a change in the colour of the blemish but it doesnt seem to vanish completely.
Acne vulgaris is a multifactorial and relapsing condition resulting in deep scars and dark spots. You consult dermatlogist for perfect treatment. Avoid stress, anxiety and tensions. Avoid excessive traveling. Sun exposure shoud be avoided which might exacerbate acne. Menstrual disturbances and hormonal imbalance should be taken care off. For cure and control of the acne lesions, azithromycine 500 mg daily for three days in a week for few months may taken. Isotretinoin cap 10 mg daily at night may be cosidered with keeping the side effects and contraindications in mind. Apply combined cream of clindamycine and adapalene on the lesions. For, dark spots, kojic acid containing gel may applied. Chemical peel may be done by expert to improve the scars after total control of acne lesions. I hope you got my answer.
