Suggest Treatment For Sanfilippo Syndrome

Hi my neice (12 years old) was diagnosed with Sanfillippo syndrome about 6 months ago. She is always having problems with diarrhea, who is she supposed to go to for help, her pediatrician or the specialist whom diagnosed her with the syndrome. Her parents always seem to get the runaround, Who is supposed to help them out? What are they supposed to do?

Sanfillippo / MPS III is a autosomal recessive lysosomal storage disorder and unfortunately only a supportive treatment can help your relative however scientist from different parts of the world are currently working upon it and some genetherapies are soon expected...

I will suggest that rather going towards the any specialist if the case is a diagnosed one, then the parents should take their child to a Ayurveda Expert the current trend of scientist working on therapy principally based on flavanoid usage.. There are many such herbs and treatments described in Ayurveda that correlates the same principle. So better explain the condition to the nearest Ayurveda Physician/ Practitioner available to them and continue the treatment suggested by him or her.
