Suggest Treatment For Ruptured Testicles

I had a ruptured testicle repaired on August 18th so 3 weeks and a few days ago. I still have discomfort and some swelling. Can this be expected? I went back my suregon last week and the incision had opened a bit but was told it is normal as the stitches had dissolved.

Welcome to health care magic.

1.If surgeon has opened and said it is normal means there is no torsion / ruptured testis.
2.But coming to the symptoms you are facing and feeling needs to be evaluated.
3.The possible cause of post operative changes can be think of like oedema, collection of fluid, infective process.
4.In this case needs to reexamine and if necessary an ultrasound scrotum - the scan will gives an exact condition of testis, blood supply, any fluid collection, features of oedema in the subcutaneous plane, any infective changes.
5.After that needful treatment can be indicated. Good luck.

Hope i have answered your query.
