Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My nose is runny. Ive been sneezing alot. Had a cough and itchy throat days ago. Cough not as bad as it was yesterday and itchy throat gone but i feel i have something stuck at the back of my throat that i need to keep spitting out. Body a bit achy but not very. Nose runny and blocked. Have been feeling hot and cold and thirsty. Have taken lots of water, paracetamol and neurofen. Felt better. When medicine wore off, started to feel chills feverish and a fe mins ago my fingers felt very numb at first then tingly to touch. When i pressed my fingers against each other, i felt a tiny vobration. This lasted for abiut five mins and is now gone. I'm sitting with a hot water bottle which seems to have eased it as my body is not feeling chills anymore. What do you recommend? Im just taking fluids, paracetamol and neorofem since yesterday.
I went through the history and it seems you are having upper respiratory tract infection. This requires treatment by the use of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. You need to continue paracetamol and along with this you need antibiotic drugs. Do consult your doctor for examination and prescription of appropriate drugs. Do write back to me for further questions.
Hope this is helpful yo you.
Thank you
