Suggest Treatment For Rheumatoid Arthritis

My brother in law has had significant weight loss and has fainted - this over the last 9 months - he was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and given b12 shots - his spouse finally confronted the doctor about scoping which he has scheduled this week - is there such an arthritis that causes weight loss?

Hi

Welcome to HCM

Rheumatoid Arthritis is a chronic disease ( means Disease that lasts for very long time ) and any chronic disease can cause weight loss.
But the main issue here is there will not be any weight gain by just giving Vitamin injections . You need to give definitive treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis. If can you post me what tests were done based on which Rheumatoid Arthritis was diagnosed ?
