Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. You have Restless leg syndrome (RLS) and are taking Gabapentin and Ropinirole for that. These medicines are nice medicines for RLS. You have problem of insomnia. For persistent insomnia I would advise you to consult your doctor again. Medicines like Benzodiazepines can help to give good sleep and these medicines will also result in improvement in symptoms of RLS. Benzodiazepines are one of common drugs used in RLS. Apart from this you can also discuss with your doctor to increase the dose of Gabapentin. Increased dose of Gabapentin will help in sleep and you will feel better. Gabapentin is also a non-addicting drug so will be safe for you. Visit your doctor for help.

Hope this helps you. Thanks and Take care
