Suggest Treatment For Relapse Of Gastritis

I had a relapse of gastritis Wed. I couldn t keep anything down for 20 hrs. Have finally lost the pain in my abdomen, but have very little energy and I get winded. A week ago I was walking 2=3 times a day and breathing the best of my life. I have been a little anemic in the past. Do you think it would be wise to see my Doc and maybe get a B12 shot?

Hi welcome to HCM...

The weakness can be because of anemia...
So yes you can estimate your serum b12 level and HB estimation ....
If anemia present corrective treatment given accordingly with iron tablet or b12 injection ...

As you have repeated attack of gastritis rule out h.pylori infection by urea breath test...
If positive accordingly drug given like omeprazole plus ampicillin and clarithromycine...

Mranwhile avoid gastric irritants ....like.....
-smoking
-alcohol
-self medication
-NSAIDs
-excess tea etc ...

Fruits taken more....
Cooked oatmeal help in soothing stomach....
Non veg and junk food kept limited.

If still problem USG has to be done....
