Suggest Treatment For Reflux And Heartburn

Dear Doctor,

I have undergone Achalasia Cardia operation in 1996.For past 2-3 years am experiencing Riflux and littlebit burning sensation in the stomach.I am regularly on Palio-D drug in the morning in an empty stomach for past 2yrs .Please guide.

Hi, You cane start esomeprazole 40 mg per day. You need and get re evaluated for your achalasia surgery. Was a fundoplication done? If yes you need to investigate if the fundoplication has failed. Please consult a gastroenterologist.
