Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic. From your history and description, I would consider the diagnosis of an allergic contact dermatitis to the hair removal cream. The allergy generally develops after repeated use only. You could apply a cream containing 1 % hydrocortisone. A combination cream like the one you have mentioned in your query also sounds fine. Apply the cream twice a day for about 10-14 days. You could also take an antihistamine like Benadryl at bedtime for 5 days. You could also keep ice packs to reduce the burning and redness. It will heal in 3-5 days time. If the redness or burning aggravates, you may need a short course of oral steroids. Hope this helps you. Take care.
