Suggest Treatment For Red, Swollen And Painful Spot On Areola

I have a painful spot on my areola. It s red and swollen and what looked like a tad bit of pus could be squeezed out of it. I don t know if it s just a zit or something more. I ve never a spot this big or sore. It is also close to my menstrual cycle if that s relevant.

Hi
Painful red swollen spot in aerola may be furuncle. Dont worry .its an infection of hair follicle in aerolar region.its not related to your menstrual cycle. Its a bacterial infection caused by staphylococci.as you are sayibg you sqeezed pus , apply T bact ointment.usually many people are carriers of this bacterium in nose.if you are getting recurrently apply ointment in nose other wise not needed.
