Suggest Treatment For Red Spots On Lower Back

My wife has developed red spots/blots on her lower back (3) , that almost appear bloody underneath the skin. they are small, they size of a q tip head. emerged within 24hours. Light spots are starting to weep from the spots/blobs. I Have photos available to upload for a 1st glance opinion. She is 8 1/2 months pregnant and Im hopefully not freaking out because of that, but I want to get this looked at so it doesn t get pushed on the back burner admist all the baby attention. Thank you for any help you can provide and GOD bless

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is furunculosis which is an infection of the hair follicle. It can be treated with topical antibacterial creams like mupirocin. She must avoid pricking or fiddling with them. She must have a bath at least two times in a day with an antiseptic soap.Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
