I ve had microscopic Red blood cells in my urine since my 20 s. I am 65 years old now. 5 years ago I had a complete Medical Work up Cystoscopy Cat Scan Blood work etc. by a Urologist. Recently My general Doctor told me to see the urologist again.. I am very concerned.. Please tell me what may be causing this? YYYY@YYYY
Hello there..Microscopic hematuria needs to be confirmed by repeating the tests twice or thrice consecutively as in old age this can be an incidental finding.And the underlying cause for hematuria has to be treated for it to resolve..Visit your urologist as suggested by your doctor..Take care..
